Wraith: I have still never once played Nosferatu, despite loving stealth games. It just seems a tad TOO restrictive.
Mentalepsy: My first playthrough was as a Nosferatu. It's definitely a different experience. I did too, and I didn't find it to be much of a restriction. Usually walking on the other side of the street is enough to avoid panicking NPCs.

cogadh: Two completely different kinds of games. Bloodlines is a FPS with some RPG elements. Redemption is a straight up third-person RPG. Some people have been drawing comparisons between Redemption and games like Diablo, calling it an "action RPG", I strongly disagree with that assessment. Action RPGs generally lack an element of depth to the story and/or characters that this game is certainly not lacking. A closer comparison would probably be the Neverwinter Nights games, but Redemption is a bit lighter on the RPG stat crunching.
Fenixp: Didn't you ... confuse the two games by a chance? Not at all.

The early sections of Redemption don't show the RPGness as well as the later stages. There is a fair bit of hack & slash but what game with combat isn't at its core?

Thanks GOG!!
Some of the comments about the graphics of this game crack me up because they were so far ahead of their time that it took most other 3D games YEARS to look as good. My, how far things have come.
I played it when it first came out, and other than it being so difficult that I had to cheat on some of the bosses, I remember it being very enjoyable.
I just picked this up, as I sold my game years ago because it was a pain to get it working, so now I have it back again.... I love GOG!!
Anyone know if there are any good spots in this game to grind so that I do not have to cheat the bosses again?? I don't think I made it even past the first boss.... lol...
*** EDIT ****
DOH!! I meant to post that in the News thread for redemption.. I clicked on the wrong one... Sorry for the off topic "sorta" post. :-p
