I clicked on this thread to see if someone was pointing out it was on sale on steam and if there were any questions I could answer about this excellent game, instead I come across a thread bump for the sake of a thread bump.

That's unfortunate. I have had redemption for a while, but only now have i got into it, and i'm liking it. Naturally i'm also interested in the sequel, but i'd like a DRM free version. Here's hoping GOG can work some magic and get it in the catalogue.

Just an FYI, if you patch it with the fan patches anyway I am pretty sure the Steam version becomes DRM free at that point.

Not rly, I have it on steam. With fan patch it's still req steam, when you try to start it you wil get "Failed to find steam"
