gamefood: And I love you too my lovely Goghoney... ♥♥♥

I bought valentineous-infected 2 games so far, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (a lot good reviews and high ratings have me) and Fist Puncher - the last only for ONE reason: I wanna crush this f***in Nazi birthday party!
Then maybe 3 other games; Nox, Syndicate Wars and Icewind Dale 2... but have enough to play for long time now ^^

[now imagine prophetical music is surrounding you and a mighty powerful voice speaks in a huge hall like that of moria...]

"And there will beeee... another promos in this sacred plaaaace, I can seeee... The Kea.. uhh *coughs* Force, I mean the Force, is strong and briiight... and shiny and... goggy and absolutely not steamy in here... Now go and play."
Ahh Fist Puncher :) Gotta love a game with such a straightforward name :D

Sorry J, you replied my post while I was editing it... You have pro-ninja'd me lame duck ;-)

Yeah you're right the name was also a strong buying argument, it's all-saying! Like the good ol' 80ies movie titles like "Hard To Kill" or "Lethal Weapon" and such :D

It actually plays like those old 80s movies with street vigilantism everywhere :D
I just want to mention how utterly lovely Guacamelee is, and how great it is to play with a friend. A few weekends ago I stayed with my little brother, and after waking up we started playing it. I hadn't felt like that for fifteen years: I have played many games since, but that feeling of waking up early and being really excited to play a fun, smooth, beautiful 2 player coop game really took me back to the days when we played Sonic 2.

It's a very generous game, in its looks, animation and gameplay, giving you walljumps, double jumps, a combo system, and very fluid fighting an jumping overall. Coop is only local, but it's most fun that way. And a controller is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

I haven't played any of the other games in this promo, so I can't compare them, but I don't think that matters. If you like Metroidvanianity, platforming, colours and you have a friend nearby who likes those things too, I'd consider buying this game.

Yeah, a remake/re-imagining so to speak.
