Yes, I see his post; I reiterate: patience is a virtue.

QC: Does that mean he's known about the message for 24 hours?

gameon: First pm 21 hours ago. A simple yes or no would have been fine.... but not replying keeps me in the dark.
I'm not going to insult you by assuming you didn't know the staff doesn't work weekends. But, the staff doesn't work weekends. If you got LUCKY he's known about it for 21 hours (Which is, less than the 24 you mentioned). But we can only assume now he's known it for 2-3 hours, and as someone else said he's probably not the guy that makes the final decision on something like this. Not to mention that if he hasn't had any direct contact, he doesn't know if it's actually true what you say, nor do any of us, to which all we can do is take your word for it. But any answer you get is most likely going to be "Thank you for the contact and information, we have nothing to announce at this time" like most public announcements that are made.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't want you to get your expectations up or get riled because you've been put on the back burner to their usual routine.

tinyE: I was 'kind of being' silly. All kidding aside I seriously think Mr. Kier is a screen legend going back to all those great Frankenstein movies. Anyone with true love for the horror/fantasy genre knows what an icon the man is.

gameon: I think Udo Kier was in command and conquer red alert 2 wasn't he?
And in Iron Sky.

I'm sorry about all this, but it's paranoia that causes me to be impatient.

I gave him Uwe Boll's e-mail address. Someone who messages him from GOG could ask for his phone number to make contact faster.

I can confirm that it is really him, as i have spoken to him on skype once, i saw him on video.

KneeTheCap: The most annoying thing I know is when people do not reply to my mails. I know it's usually a trivial matter to them, or they're busy or deem the mail not good or in need of an answer.

It's a personal thing, but whenever I mail someone something, and they won't reply, I get the feeling that the person is either mad at me or I did / said something wrong. It's a horrible feeling, and not a very rational one. I don't know what the point of that is, but I do have it.

And this is not meant for TET or anyone here, just needed to vent and this thread has a similar topic. Sorry Gameon for derailing this thread a bit...
The best ones are when someone mails you for support, you either ask for more details to be able to help or give them a possible solution, and you never hear from the person again. I've grown to ignore these people, but it sucks because they leave me with unresolved stuff and that's not good in front of the boss.

What, you mean you're not chained to your desk at headquarters? O,o
Hah, Uwe Boll. First film I saw of his was Postal and I loved it so I checked out the rest of his stuff.... realised pretty quickly that Postal was a bit of a one off gem to me.

Not sure what questions I would ask him though, most of mine would be a tad too blunt, such as "Do you do video game films because you lack artistic ability and see them as an easy cash cow?" or "Do you just enjoy trolling the shit out of gamers?".

Meh, end of the day the guy makes a living out of it and people watch his films. Fair play I guess.

Questions of any sort could be asked, but it would be up to GOG which ones to pick (that's IF it happens)

I would ask him: If you could make a video game, what would it be about?

Actually a fairly decent question, nice reversal there! I guess another interesting one would be "Do you have any particular games in mind that you'd like to tackle?"

Going by how he handled Postal, Uwe could probably do a sweet job with Saints Row.
I'd really want to know if he thinks he gained something by boxing his critics. It was a pretty juvenile move from a former amateur boxer.

Didn't he turn Tunnel Rats into a shitty game?

Half-Life
Honestly, I don't think that an interview with Boll staying in his "i make awesome movies" persona would be interesting.

Behind this, asking him about the frontier between what he would or wouldn't exploit in his strategy (books, movies-to-remake, or which ones). Are there source materials that he'd respect too much to make pseudo-movies on them, and, if so, where does he draw the line.
What is more to explain about Uwe Boll? His movies are terrible and he is a joke. Period.
Everything else is on Wikipedia.
