It's a crying shame that this game is not here. It's considered by most as abandonware, although Microsoft still holds the rights, they really arent interested in it at all anymore. It would be very possible to get it here no? It's also Win 7 (64bit) compatible by default and there's an unpublished expansion to it that can be found with a little googling. The problem is this expansion needs a real installation of the game. Now i do have the game's original disc, but i what i dont have is a disc that's scratch free enough to be installed from, so i'm left with being content to just playing the original one. The thing with the expansion is, that it was dropped by MS before it was completely finished, so there's no starting files for the game unless you install it correctly, (Full isntallation of the original game from disc or other commercial media.) therefore being unplayable. And even though it's essentially unfinished, it's finished enough to not show any bugs or problems that i've noticed.

The game has music from Xfiles composer Mark Snow, and the best scores it's gotten was 9.5 out of 10, by pre 2003 ukgamer? or some such name. So don't just take it from me, This game is awesome.

If you liked Uprising and Battlezone, you'll love this.
Come on now, i know i'm not the only one who likes this game.

This game was amazing, and so few people seem to have played it in my experience. I spent so many hours on this game. @_@ I seriously wish I could find it somewhere legitimately again. I have no idea where my discs ended up.
what is this game about?

l0rdtr3k: what is this game about?
It's basically a FPS/RTS hybrid game. Like an updated battle zone. You create units and send them around the map. You can control any of them and participate in the fights in 3D. It was really fun!
kinda like Jagged Alliance?

i could have sentenced him to n64 carmegeddon a truly abominable game
Urban Assault was a really cool game! I've only had a chance to play a demo, but it was a great 3D RTS! I really wish GOG could get a deal with Microsoft. Here is the wishlist!
