Good Games Never Get Old, but They May Drop in Price.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Prices have reached new lows for Mr. Bree+, which has dropped its price from $9.99 to $2.99 permanently. Recent speculation in the pork futures market has lead to a steep decline in estimated value of anthropomorphic pig-persons, and as a result you, my dear gamer, can pick up this awesome hardcore platformer about a pig, a kidnapping (pignapping?), and a journey home.

Maybe jumping and running and falling and dying and jumping again isn't your thing? Don't worry then, because we've also dropped the price on Restaurant Empire--it's now just $5.99. If you've ever dreamed of being a restaurant tycoon whose knowledge of the industry and skill selecting sous-chefs make you a superstar, then this is incontrovertibly a game for you! Select everything from the food that's on the menu to the font that's on the menu, and see how your actions result in a successful Restaurant Empire!
Not interested in Restaurant Empire, but mrBree is now really tempting
A pricedrop on Redshirt is worth noticing as well (happened like month ago?).
high rated
It's a little sad to see a nice game like Mr. Bree+ for such a low base price. But I know that it didn't sell well and I hope that a lot of people will give it a try now and make it a success for the developers this way.

Problem was it got lumped into a bundle fairly early on as i remember....
Mr. Bree should not have a price drop by 70%. The game is worth more. Doing so the developers sell it at a loss and will not have any money for developing new games :(
$5.99 would be a good price.

Thing is, they sell it for $3 pretty much everywhere else (according to a post in another thread), GOG was the only place still having it for $10.

That might be part of it, but I've also noticed a massive burnout among consumers for puzzle-platformers. Unless you do something outstanding and grab the attention of a few popular youtubers, the chances of a game doing well in this genre is becoming very difficult.
I feel like it would have been better for this to be described as a sale (a permanent one)

Yes, it was in Groupees Greenlight bundle 4 before it was even out (the included beta version had no boss fights and was a little buggy). But do you really think that this one bundle had such a great impact on the sales?
I am wondering, why it has to be a loss of 70%. It is a bit radical.

Yeah, it's pretty high but I believe it just shows that the game was far too expensive in the first place. Although indeed, 3 bucks seems almost extreme, considering the usual price of indie games.
