Max Payne 3

I really enjoyed 1 and 2, but I'm going to park this into the "not so excited" category.
Rockstar might do excellent three-dimensional games, but in my experience they've not been so great at three-dimensional characters, which is really what made the first two so gripping.

Really worried about this one... Rockstar is usually amazing, but this game just looks like crap to me so far. Graphics, gameplay... meh. Plus it is a total 180 to the original games. Why bother making a Max Payne game if you change everything about it?

It's funny to see Max getting old and fat, but I don't really like certain facts:
1)No one from the old Max Payne series are working on this. They are all on Alan Wake
2)PC will be probably DRM (live)
3)First screens make the gameplay look shitty and really UnPayne like.
4) Why not New York? Max Payne lived out by the Noir New York 8/
I'm looking forward to Amnesia: The Dark Descent

I've pre-ordered, even though it doesn't come out until August.
Between their excellent gameplay trailer and their very thoughtful blog posts, the developers of this game have got me quite excited to see what they have put together.

Downstairs, apparently. Is that John McClane? Not that I'm not a fan, but I think he's in the wrong game.
I'm currently tracking these games for the remainder of this year, and hoping they don't suck:
Alpha Protocol - I need a good 'non-fantasy' RPG, so hopefully this will fit the bill
Mafia II - enjoyed the first game, and hope the second is as good
Arcania: A Gothic Tale - a sort of reboot of the Gothic series under a new developer
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - getting mixed vibes about this already. Cover system...meh. :/
Fallout New Vegas - thoroughly enjoyed Fallout 3, so hoping this one doesn't disappoint. Everything I've read about it seems positive so far.
FEAR 3 - as Monolith is not at the help, I'm really hoping these devs don't go off at a complete tangent
Medal Of Honor - I hope this reboot does the business, and has a lengthy and engaging SP campaign.
Mass Effect 2 - Overlord
Fallout: New Vegas
Alpha Protocol
Red Dead Redemption
Super Street Fighter IV
Civilization V
Crysis 2
Dead Space 2
