have you tried manually pausing it yourself? I have had similar issues, and manually pausing and resuming helped me out.

A GOG torrent server would draw too many connotations of illegality even if you did pay legal money for it. In most people's minds torrent = pirated software. The last thing we want is the last bastion of good old games being embroiled in the drama surrounding torrents and the like.

well, it sounds like you're using the GOG downloader, correct? I believe it does have a pause/resume feature. If you attempt to pause it prior to the session becoming corrupted, then it might be able to continue where it left off.

I suggest you try the browser download method using a third-party download manager. I use , but it's not free; [url=http://www.flashget.com/en/download.htm]FlashGet is a good free one. Download managers allow you to resume broken downloads, and won't lose any progress even if the download source stops working (giving a 403 error or whatever). If that happens you can choose not to delete the unfinished file (if you are asked to do so) and simply feed in a new source URL from the browser download method; the download will then pick up where it left off.
