I'd get Gold or Awakening SE.

But I can't even get the game I want lol
As huge fan of Unreal Tournament series, I highly recommend UT 2004. :D

It's only 2 UTs out of entire series that I play on frequent basis.

UT 2004 is truly excellent shooter game because it provide different contents and mode for one to play in. Also, the interface is very easy to use so you can be at ease. The weapons are well designed and you can switch the weapon at the moment by rolling the mouse wheel.

It's..... fantastic game! *thumb ups*
oh and theres GOTY ed. for the first one (i think its the first one)
I think GOTY is the second in the series after Untold Gold but I can be mistaken.

GOTY is very very very good game. I play it a lot when I was in high school. I really like the maps in GOTY. They're guarantee to be very action packed and less camper friendly, except for M 15 map. :P
UT2004

Imagine everything from the original, and multiply it by six.

Seriously, get 2004.
I have both UT 2k4 and GOTY installed. If I have some time I go with 2k4 . . for a quick game I prefer the GOTY version.

If you are considering a shooter I would also recommend looking at Painkiller Black and the Serious Sam 1st and 2nd encounters as well . . . =)

What he said. That's why I strongly recommend UT 2004. It's truly last great shooter game, in my own personal opinion.
I'd actually recommend you get the Anthology. It's a retail version containing all the games here but usually sold at about the same amount as one of them. There's no DRM aside from a serial you have to use with the installer.
Im gonna get 2004. Thanks guys youre a great community and FYI Stuff im gonna check those out too : )

It's definitely a high point in the series. I love it and have played it for many an hour. UT3 is actually a better game now though. It's just a shame that it took far too long to get there and started off so badly. The community wasn't really worth calling a community last I checked.

I remember when my buddy hooked me up with UT3 when it first came out and it was bit too clunky and shaky. It was not what I had expected so I just stick with GOTY and '04 versions. I don't doubt that UT3 is good now but initial impression just soured me.

You and a whole hell of a lot of other people it seems. The black edition is quite a significant improvement on the original. But it's difficult to recommend it given the lack of people to play against.
Do people still play online in 2004?!

Last I checked both that and the original GotY had far livelier communities than UT3.
