It's time to spread GOG.com around the world. Let everyone know about this great website.
I hereby open the first unofficial GOG.com's channel on YouTube! The place where all promotional videos and maybe something more will be published.
Watch the first unofficial promotional video for GOG.com: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YIOVGadD9M&fmt=18
Visit the channel: http://www.youtube.com/GOGcom
Since it's still in the testing stage, comments and ratings are disabled at the moment.
They should be available soon.
How do you like it? Post your opinions here, in this topic.
Nicely made, although I think the GOG staff might have something to say about it, as it looks "official". It's probably also a mistake to show BASS in there, without mentioning that they don't charge you for it. Since it's freeware, and the video makes it seem like it's being sold along with the rest of the titles, it might get more of a negative reaction than a positive one.
i don't see the point..

Maybe you can give GOG the account if they want it.
Here's a great idea. Sometimes I'm on GOG and will find a game that looks interesting and think "I wonder if I'll like it?" I then log onto youtube to see if there's some gameplay footage I can check out. Sometimes I can't find anything for a certain game...what if the gog.com channel were a way for gog users to upload gameplay videos of the games on GOG? GOG could also put up the original game trailers as well. Just a thought.
it does look swanky but I do agree it sort of looks too offcial, maybe change the "we" to "they" for example, makes it clearer that you're speaking about the site rather than on behalf of the site.
The Unofficial GOG.com channel on YouTube is now Official :)
Thanks to Red_153d's kindness we are now in control of the GOG.com YouTube channel. The team is working hard in order to bring you as many videos from GOG.com's games in high quality as they can. You can count on an update very soon!

Excellent! Well done Red. I'm looking forward to trailers, gameplay videos, etc. You could even make a presentation video of the GOG team. I'm sure lots of us would like to see how you look and where you work :-)
I certainly will contribute.

You don't see the point, right?

I don't think I understand the question.
Having an Official GOG.com youtube channel, means you can see video previews of the games, hopefully before you buy them.

Not of an Unofficial one, but an Official one is cool.

Indeed, but how exactly do you plan to "contribute"?
