Jeff Gerstmann and Brad Shoemaker ask the important questions, such as "What would happen if we blew up the moon?" and "What would happen if we turned the sun into a black hole, and after it sucked everything in, we blew up that black hole?"
HoneyBakedHam: I just went on Steam to get Civ 5 DLC, and while there I was looking at Universe Sandbox.
Is there anyone here who can write a 1200 word essay, in MLA format, about it?
Or, maybe just a few sentences :-)
It looks amazingly cool, but I'd like to hear from people who have played with it before I buy it.
Basically, "sandbox" perfectly describes it. You can see a pretty accurate simulation of different parts of the universe, and you can change different variables to see how screwed up everything would become if one digit was moved here or there.
The community also creates their own scenarios that they upload, so you can see all sorts of strange fantasy stuff, such as the way the Death Star and Endor interact with each other. You can even create your own universe from scratch, if you have the time and patience.
