Miaghstir: I'm pretty sure they stated that they carry the only DRM-free download version, not mentioning boxed copies at all. I might have missed something though. Not that I believe non-Polish boxes will be completely DRM free until such a patch is released.

hedwards: The posts I read suggested that the box copies would be DRM encumbered. Of course the posts may have been wrong as I don't recall any of them coming from official sources.

EDIT: Also there was the announcement here just before I signed up for the preorder saying that Mr. Gog was the only place that would be carrying the game DRM free.
That post said the only DOWNLOAD place, as he tried to tell you previously. Box copy DRM is still completely unknown and could be anything.

I don't really need you patronizing me like that. I was kind enough not to do that sort of dickish thing to you when you were being obtuse in that piracy thread, I think it's not unreasonable to expect at least some decorum.

Secondly, it was an add on edit, that I put in there quickly as a reference to where I remember that information being. Nobody from GOG, at least that I saw, corrected the notion that one would have to buy a copy here to be free of DRM in the boxed set.

Now, maybe they missed it, or maybe they didn't need to correct it because it was correct.

I think you are being overly sensitive there, man. I capitalized it and emphasized because you seemed to miss his point the first time, that the newsbit pointed out specifically only among download sellers would GOG be the only DRM free method.

I think you're reading too much into nothing, they're not exactly posting on these forums constantly answering everyone's questions. Since the newsbit made it clear they were talking about download retailers I don't think they were trying to give us hidden messages through a lack of information.

All that said since Atari is the US boxed publisher I would be surprised if it doesn't have some kind of DRM on it, in the US at least.
