Hi all,

as I like old games and do love to make games as a hobby, I decided to spend free minutes to create Web Versions of Good old Games.

All the games can be played in the browser (Best experience with Google Chrome).

Here is the first Remake:

#1
Pong
URL: http://www.gogwiki.com/GOA/pong
Development Time: 1 Hour
How to play:
You are the paddle on the left, move it with the cursor keys up and down.
Score by keeping the ball in game and strike a goal on the right side.

#2
Pacman (r)
URL: TBC
Development Time: TBC
How to play:
TBC

#3
Breakout
URL: TBC
Development Time: TBC
How to play:
TBC

Please feel free to suggest additions to the classic edtions, for example: For Pong, I can imagine to see a frogger to cross the playfield and interact with the ball.

I will add new games from time to time ;)

This is an awesome idea! I have to ask though, my browser told me "this site(gogwiki.com) is asking to store data on your computer for offline use". What's that about?(my knowledge on such issues is limited, sorry if it's a dumb question)

+1 for the effort.

no problem... to improve loading time, the game engine tries to store the images localy, should work even if you disallow it.

Player vs Player online play :D
I'm soooooo bad at Pong........ :(
I found a bug. The ball hit the (AI) paddle when it was touching the bottom of the screen. The result was that the ball flew straight up at a very high speed (bouncing at the top of the screen, back towards the AI paddle and then towards me)

happened to me as well once :) I am trying to tweak the physics engine for a better experience :)

This is the TRUE Summer of Arcade! Thanks!

what's next? Breakout? ;-)

distance between two paddles is too big, though.

Please give a suggestion how far they should be away... I have selected a wider range as the speed of the ball increases quite fast ;)
yay for Breakout!!

Nvm, but I found a bug :D If you bounce the ball too much vertically, it will go back to you, or... it will bounce vertically forever :D
