Did anyone watch this? I think a couple of websites were streaming it. Anyway, I watched it, and it was awful. The host made terrible, terrible jokes, they talked a bunch about "tween" games, and James Cameron came out and talked for 15 whole minutes about Avatar, with no gameplay footage whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I love James Cameron (T2 is one of my favorite movies ever), but listening to him rant for that long with no footage to display what he was talking about was mind-numbing. All I remember from his talk is that there are blue people that are ten feet tall, and we have something to do with them.
Yawn. Avatar's coming out as a game?

Attack of the ten foot smurfs?

It's not the Avatar you're thinking of. Not Avatar: The Last Airbender. This is a brand-new sci-fi universe.

Yeah, I know the Cameron Avatar, the one that took forever to develop and still isn't out. THAT is coming out as a game?

Yep, and here are some screenshots, which they failed to show at the Ubisoft conference:

It's still coming out as a movie, too. It also sounds like Ubisoft helped make the movie with their newly-acquired FX studio.

Hmm, I hope this doesn't become the DNF of film. I really want to see this.

I wish Cameron would do The Last Airbender though. I'm not an anime guy, but damn that show is just fine.

Isn't that some Nicktoons thing? The closest I got to watching anything on Nickelodeon was Nick at Nite.

Yeah, it's some Nickelodeon cartoon. I actually think that movie is being made by M. NIght Shamalan, of all people. Be prepared for a twist! ...or not, since that new killer plant movie he made had no twist. Maybe that was the twist, though?

Oh god, don't remind me about that movie... the end was so hastily written-- so the plants just suddenly stopped giving off nerve gas and moved to France?
The Ubi press conference was possibly the worst thing I've ever seen. Ever.
I'm surprised they didn't do a ton of Assasain's Creed 2 footage.
Well, I suppose Sony already snaffled up all the good Assasain's Creed 2 footage.
