Basically, you redeem the free stuff and you agree you won't take legal action against Ubi$oft for the magnificent train wreck of AC:U. Don't they realize they're just digging themselves deeper with this? Anyhow, I for one would like to see them struggle, just so they'll sell off some games they're not working on, ie, Splinter Cell. I don't trust any of my games will be games if its Ubisoft anymore. They should just close up as a games-developer and make 16fps slideshows.
I'm still waiting on AC4 to drop. So no rush for these new ones. :P
Was anyone seriously threatening a class action suit or anything with regards to Unity? Gamers are a cantankerous bunch but generally don't throw lawsuits around.

Do you mean Black Flag? Because if you do, you could've gotten one along with Unity.

*Free* for a $30-$60 season pass you mean. That's not free to me. I could have bought a Nvidia promo key off of someone for much less than that (AC4 around $14) but I'd rather get it + the pass/dlc in the $10 range. Never pay for an incomplete Ubisoft package or you'll never get the full game.

Being a trader has its perks. ^^

Well, it's Ubisoft we're speaking of.
Buy one game for the price of three and get one free!
what do you mean 'trying'? they've been fooling, and continue to do so. The people who say they don't buy into it compared to the ones who actually don't buy into it is probably 10:1
Wow, how bad of a disaster was the game that they are actually attempting damage control?
Damage control seems far more of staying on customer's good side rather than anything else. I think if they look at CapCom as a model of comparison, they see the fate they could take if they take too many bad steps. Course EA seems to have avoided that for all their bad choices, although recently EA is trying to clean up their act, so maybe the worst company won't be so bad anymore...

Maybe...

And maybe I'm a magical butt monkey from outer space.
I never pay more than a tenner for Ubisoft games on 360, I really dislike the company so do my best not to support them. This Legal Catch crap is a prime indicator of what fuckwits they are.
Ubisoft apologizing to customers reminds me of this scene from the movie EuroTrip.

You know a game's launch has been a disaster when the publisher starts thinking, "What's the most sneaky way we can limit the damage from a class action lawsuit?"
I'm sorry your new puppy drools everywhere, have one that shits on the carpet when you're not home. Two puppies for the price of one!
If there's no further limitation (some more context), I wonder if that's even legal. Can you really legally say "by clicking here you can sue me forever ever no matter what I will do in the future?"
