Did anyone notice that on the first weekend Ubisoft games were available on GOG, Steam has a weekend deal that features four of these games as a bundle for 9.99? Granted, Prince of Persia isn't part of the deal, but jeez: Beyond Good and Evil, Il-2 1946, FarCry, and Might & Magic Dark Messiah.
I'd pick GOG any day over Steam, but man, how can you compete with a deal like that? It seems as if Steam is going for the jugular here.

Yes, they did, actually. http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/ubisoft_back_hands_gog_com

I would like to mention that not every country in the world got the same promotion.
For example in Poland we could get 3 games ( http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/159/missinghfy.jpg ) for a price of 9,99 EURO.

Yes, I love how Steam convert dollars to euros.

I have Beyond Good & Evil though, and the other titles don't hold any interest. Steam also doesn't have any contests. I mean, just for buying Prince of Persia and reviewing it this week on GOG you get entered for TWO drawings.
Could you, please, move it to discussion linked above? I don't see a reason for one topic to take place in two places
Steam had actually been doing deals on a new Ubisoft game everyday all last week. It wasn't just the weekend deal. It was Ubisoft week.
Yeah, we knew this already.

Ok. Well first of all, I was talking to the OP, since he didn't seem to notice that there were Ubisoft deals all week. I wasn't talking to you.
Second of all, if you aren't posting anything helpful, then you probably shouldn't post at all. Just a little tip for you.

I wasn't replying to you.
Usually when people reply, they quote other people's posts. If not, then they're replying to the OP. Just a ltitle tip for you.

It seemed more coincidence that direct competition. I don't think it stole their thunder. I think this was just a week of Ubisoft love.

Can't argue with that.
If I don't quote anything, I reply to the post directly above mine. I thought this was the standard way of doing it.

Usually posting without quotes means you're replying to the OP.
