Seriously though. Think before posting, and complain about the things Ubi is ACTUALLY doing badly (ubi-drm and the heavy emphasis on combat in SC: Conviction come to mind) as opposed to making another game in a series that already spreads across multiple genres.

I think that Dark Messiah was great, but I lost all hope about M&M when I saw this.

Actually, get past the anime look and the lack of any meaningful connection to Might and Magic, and Clash of Heroes is surprisingly a pretty nice puzzle game.

Hey, at least they haven't rushed this out the door like 'Lords of Ultima', also this at least follows the M&M theme. Don't get me started on Ultima, my poor Ultima. :(

Dude, it's just another game set in the Ashan game world, like Dark Messiah ( me <3 Arkane ). It's not the next installment of the classic RPG series or HoMM. Get a grip.
If anything, Ubi has rescued the Might and Magic name.

Clash of Heroes is actually very good, and Heroes Kingdoms has been out in France as a browser based game for a while now.

I thinks what irks me about it is that there is no rime or reason to it. I mean, with HOMM 5, at least you could see what they were trying to do, it was at least in the vein of the HOMM series, but now they are just slapping the name on any old fantasy based game they spit out, trying to gleam something from association with the name.

Quite aside from the nature of the game or its place in the franchise, Might and Magic Heroes Kingdoms is one of the stupidest titles I've ever heard.

I seriously feel so sorry for Caneghem. Selling to Ubisoft was never his decision; it was a consequence of publishing deals.
HoMM2 was the third game of anything I played (I should post the full chronology sometime) and seeing everything go downhill since MM XI / HOMM IV is disgusting.

We need another Evony wannabe? Also the epic music and what's shown on video made it look quite hilarious :P I actually LOLed. Ooooh epic! ;-P And where's the major attraction of evony, kingory and their hundreds of bastard children, BOOBS! Come save me my lord! ;-P
