I think I'm in the Navy. We primarily protect the sea lanes from pirates these days, supporting economic stability. I'm thinking my training will be very, very relevant to my life when I'm out. (Six figures is not uncommon for people with my rating)

I'd actually recommend going with snail mail over e-mail for this kind of thing. A piece of physical mail shows you're serious enough to make that bit of extra effort, plus it's probably a bit more likely to be fully read rather than an e-mail just getting dumped to /dev/null.

Be polite, take it to a new thread. I, and I'm sure other forum members, will gladly discuss your statements on Somali piracy and the US military in a new thread, but not here. You are perilously close to trolling. Thank you.
Okay, I am nice :)
Peace to all!

I live in Germany and am studying the history of Germany till and after 3rd Reich. Do you think I don't reflect from our history and what damage we Germans caused to the world?
War is poison, and military and patriotism/nationalism are just fuel for more war and surpression. I would go further, but I respect Luned's plead and will stop answering.
If you want to talk more about, open a thread for that.

Don't forget C&C 4. If enough people buy the games, this could become a big problem.

All I am going to say is that if you studied all that you would know how important a military was for stopping such movements and you would honor his service.

And the new Ghost Recon, the new Splinter Cell... and Assassin's Creed 2 for PC... this will be a big problem sure, because they're all big titles. =/
Like melchiz said, I guess a lot of people will find that online is the norm, because of the games from Blizzard and their store this will be an acceptable thing for the greater audience.

Looking at it from Blizzard's point of view why would they worry about making SC2 online only? They have WoW, a massive success despite being online only, so they likely think it's no big deal to 99% of people, which honestly might be accurate.
Personally I am a lot more for being online all the time than I am dealing with limited activations or a clunky client program like Steam or Games for Windows Live... ESPECIALLY if they patch it out after a year or so, which Ubisoft says they will do.

No. Huge logical fallacy there. "MMOs are online all the time, so there's no reason single player games shouldn't be." That's like saying your DVD player should stop working if your TV signal is cut off.
