michaelleung: Newest clue:

Some.

Yeah, it's 3D Realms.
Gee, I hadn't noticed. :P

elyscape: Somehow, I doubt that Portal is gonna end up on GOG.

TheCombine: ...
It's a Duke quote.

Somehow I was under the impression that we weren't being serious. I suppose I was mistaken.
Fallout 3.
3D Realms/Apogee eh? Let's hope so!
I'd LOVE to see Shadow Warrior and a Commander Keen pack on GOG!

RSHabroptilus: The Quake 2 mission packs do not work on XP/Vista.

Weclock: interesting, I can run them, fine. :D

What?!??
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
It's not fair! Raghaghgarhgrhg!
My save files become corrupt and stop working randomly. I can't make it more than an hour in before it just starts flipping out so frequently I can't touch it. And all the graphic-fixing mods (I remember the problem lying here) are only for the vanilla game, and work with the mission packs, but everything's all black, with no lights placed anywhere. :(((((((((((
Does this contest end today? I'm getting sick of loading thie thread to see what everyone is guessing only to find they're all saying apogee/3drealms when it's OBVIOUSLY lucasarts (or is it just my brain rewording all the clues to make them about star wars?)

There was a Quake 2 version with all the extensions bundled with the special edition of Quake 4, which runs fine even with Vista64. Not sure if the original standalone Q2 would work though. Perhaps you are running two different versions of Q2?
Based on the clues I'd have to say 3d realms too, certainly seems Dukeish to me! but I also have to point out I waited all day to speed (cough, cough) home and see what the big announcement was.....sadly there is none its 12:28am on the 26th here in the Central time zone, what gives?!?!
LOL, weary minds MUST know...please tell us soon! :p
I guess I should get a guess in really soon shouldn't I. I will say 3Drealms as well, I wouldn't mind a little Duke multiplayer action myself either.

Weclock: steam version. :D

That's what I have. :(
Now that's gotta be Apogee
If it's Apogee, I'm pre-ordering Death Rally now.
I havent seen any hints, but I know that 3DRealms has the rights to a few oldies, though the most famous of them is probably Duke Nukem.
Ok ;) Come get some is a definite Duke Nukem 3d taunt. My bet was incorrect and obviously, we have a winner ;) I will probably not be buying duke, but I remember how much fun could be had with the level editor...
