I'll guess something other than apogee just to give a bit of diversity but be probably wrong since apogee seems quite reasonable. So:
Lucasarts
Almost certainly wrong but if not, I'm having TIE fighter

Righty here goes my entry gonna go for micropose with the Mechwarrior series which I guess makes it a shooter, which fits with taking a dip when i get hot, done by FASA. I'm a bit drunk so probably just wishful thinking...HIC!
I actually thought mechwarrior myself there for a few minutes, mostly based on the Wolf & Shooter clues

"we got a bleeder!" Suggests one of those Hospital games by EA or someone like that. Or maybe Blood is coming to GOG.
So far, I'm going with Leisure Suit Larry games.

Yes, that is what I meant. I wasn't too sure about the name. Thanks!

No problem! I remember reading about it in PC Gamer magazine and/or playing the demo, and most of those demos I played were just because of the demos and I almost never bought the full games...
And that's why I know about games like Carmageddon (in the July 1997 demo disc, the Curse Of Monkey Island cover story issue; if I could find that issue intact in either dead tree form or in PDF, I'd be really happy).

I'm going to guess Atari/Infogrames. I can easliy see GoG getting the Master of Orion series here.
Maybe...
Master of Orion $5.99
Master of Orion II $9.99
Master of Orion 3 FREE (seeing as how Amazon was giving it away for free after the mail-in rebate)
Apogee
Hm... I think we are going on the wrong way...
Anyway, upon looking further in these clues, I found something:
I think most of these phrases are references to music.
Here:
"Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today" is part of the lyrics in New York, New York by Frank Sinatra
"Hungry like a wolf" is a song by Duran Duran
"Pump up the Jam" is a song by Technotronic
"We've got a bleeder" is a song by Goblic Cock
I dunno, maybe I'm also wrong about this too, as I can't figure out what this would mean...
