We need JAST USA on GOG!
Are there any adult games with sexual content that aren't Japanese or pretending to be Japanese?

Dammit, I can't pretend that I don't know this one because I already commented on it on the wishlist.

Seduce Me that I mentioned above. Its art style reminds me more of pinup. And it was actually made by two people who worked at Guerrilla (the Killzone guys) and decided to go indie, it's a rather solid and professional product and definitely more classy than your typical Japanese adult game.

Well, it certainly looks that way. Unfortunately, it also looks boring as hell ;-)

Well, sure. I meant recent games of a certain quality. I should have specified.

Well, it's basically just a card game. A really relaxing one with nice music, some high quality artwork and a very basic story. As I said: I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I'm not much into card games normally but for a few days I was actually addicted to this one and kept playing more matches than I needed to proceed. If you just want something to relax to it's a really nice game.

Gabe Newell and Valve are more than happy to collect 30% of gross revenues from shovelware sold to unsuspecting Steam customers. Valve Corp. doesn't do anything that isn't calculated to be in their own financial self-interest. If they pull a game, it's not because they think it's crap, it's because they don't think it'll sell well enough to outweigh the hit they might take financially from negative PR.

Katawa Shoujo.
It does have a "anime" art style though. :P

I am waiting for people to use the word over saturated when pin pointing Steam

omega64: Buggy games?
Sure throw them in.
Outright broken games?
Sure why not?

Turns out Steam does pop up when a game has actual sexual content though. They couldn't possibly allow something like that.

But I thought they basically gave up on restricting games with sexual content. I mean, as far as I can tell, Sakura Spirit is still available for sale. And people say GOG is inconsistent with their policies. =P

Though I will say that there are perfectly legitimate reasons for not wanting games with sexual content on the service, such as wanting to avoid public outcry and keep a service safe for children or people who want to avoid obscene content.

Tarm: Yes and thank you! That have been really bugging me lately.

On topic.
I do wish the western world/culture would stop this trend where everything sex in media is bad if not in some kind of porn.
^^ this. It is getting ridiculous. I find it amazing the level of violence that is graphically displayed, glorified and is socially acceptable, whilst a glimpse of nudity or something suggestive creates a furor. The human body is beautiful. Violence is ugly.

Don't worry, the comment above yours overshadows every other comment. ;-P
