CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference has just finished and everything is clear now. If you haven't been able to tune in to watch the live stream, don't worry. We've prepared a quick summary of our presentation with a video recap for your convenience. So, let's not wait any longer.

At the very beginning we had to brag a bit about how awesome the service is doing, of course thanks to you - our great users. And then, suddenly, the lights went off, creepy moans started letting out from all over the place while The EnigmaticT tried to discern something in the dark with his flashlight.

Worry not, it was the announcement of Alone in the Dark, that comes with Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark 3 as free bonus materials! This great series starts a new wave of Atari games that will be available in the coming weeks! And on 10th of May as the last game from Atari, we'll release The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. What's even cooler we're going to have a special, time-limited offer that will give you a 50% discount, so the game will cost you only $4.99!

As we're on the subject of The Witcher, we had more cool stuff about its upcoming sequel on GOG.com. Starting on May 10, everyone who pre-order The Witcher 2 on GOG.com will be able to pre-purchase the game and download 90% of the build, so they can play the game on release day! So if you haven't pre-ordered the game yet, you'd better do that before May 16! More details on The Witcher deals can be found here.

Pre-downloading such huge game like The Witcher 2 is some serious business, and you'd need some serious downloader to do that. That's where the GOG.com Spring Site Update comes in! Late April we'll introduce a brand new, improved and slick GOG Downloader which will allow you to download all your GOG games fast and easy. What else? Personal messaging will be now possible for all our users!

But that's not all! At the very end, spotlight was on your favourite French Monk, who had some news regarding new publishers coming to the site. Microsoft, Electronic Arts, LucasArts, Take2 and SquareEnix - one of those publishers is already signed, while two more from the list are almost on board! Which and when is coming? Well, you'll have to wait a bit for that :)

You can watch the video recap of the presentation here. Enjoy!
I just hope to see more FPS games being released on GOG. I feel that there is not enough in comparison to the other genres, such as the RPG.

I wouldn't mind some more RTS games. I loved the old Warhammer games such as Dark Omen and Chaos Gate.
Eh... Eidos, Lucas Arts, Microsoft, T2 and EA is good... Really good, obviously. But my secret wish contains such publisher like Konami with both MGS and SH2.
But, I can live with it. Try to. Still, good job GOG ) Pretty sure that EA and Eidos would be here. EA has a very wide selection of games, not only new ones. Hope for NFS pack )

*well, and there is still time to replay Witcher 1 for my personal saves. That's what I'm going to do )*

I'm really looking forward to Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy. And did you say Lucas Arts!!! *breathing excitedly* IS THERE GONNA BE GRIM FANDANGO??? *tries to calm down*
If Atari bought Infogrames I wish from the bottom of my heart that Silver is "What game made you feel like a hero?". Or that it will be released soon anyhow ^^
Why do I get the feeling that it's gonna be Lucasarts coming out in Summer/Winter (I'm in Australia, and the seasons are a reverse of Europe), with Square-Enix and T2 coming in Fall?
Well i certainly hope they add some more good ol' rpgs here :D

Only VII and VIII were at PC, but still it would be great.
GOG website says:
"What game made you go to The Underworld?
Find out on April 27."

I'm betting on Ultima: Underworld.

What are you guys' guessing?

Ultima is not from Atari.
My guess is Diggles: the Myth of Fenris (a.k.a. Wiggles).

I hope to god the company they signed was LucasArts! I needs me some more classic adventure games.
I would really love to see X-Wing Alliance.. This was the finest space simulator ever, not to mention the outstanding story. I still dream about this game.
