We keep on rolling with the whole social-networking thing. First we started the GOG.com Facebook page, then last week we added GOG.com's Twitter feed and today we're officially announcing GOG.com's YouTube channel. Head over to http://www.youtube.com/gogcom and check out the videos of games available at GOG.com. We're just starting so there are only four of them, but we'll keep updating the channel to cover most -- if not all -- of the GOG.com games.
This is a very nice addition, and it would be good to see a lot of these games running instead of just looking at the screenshots. I know i looked quite hard for Invictus footage and barely found any last week.

This one is actually kind of useful too, unlike the social networking pages. Trailers for the games we'll buy - good idea! You might even embed them to the game's page.
Agreeed.
Subscribed. :)
I hope GOG Team will also bring some gameplay movies to the channel, not only intros. I think gameplay's the most important factor when considering a game to buy.
Anyway, great addition!
Neat addition!

Looking forward for playthrouhgs :-)
I'd like to add my vote for gameplay videos please... perhaps also if you guys can dig up promotional videos and the like for these games? I ask only because you've been so good about packing extras into the releases otherwise :)
I have to say I'm really becoming a GOG fan :)

We'll add as much as we can... it would be good to get a lot of our own gameplay vids, but it's a matter of finding people and time to do that :)

I've never really done a screencast before, but say the word and I'll be happy to capture videos of all the games I've bought from GOG... I should warn you that I kinda suck at many of them though, so watching me play may be an exercise in frustration!
Awesome, finally you guys are on a site I'm a member of (besides this one). I'm going there to subscribe right now. :D
And for the Gameplay videos it would be cool if you could set something up where users could send in videos of them playing if you can't find anyone to do it yourselves.
I'd also like to throw my vote in for ingame footage. Short of actually playing a demo it is normally a good way to gauge if a game may be good or not. I would also say that you have unedited gameplay footage or at least large sections of unedited if you wanted to show off different areas of a game.
I always disliked how trailers are put together for larger titles that show all flash and when you sit down to play the game its nothing like that.

Also the link I just quoted is practically unreadable to me unless I drag the cursor over it. It's probably my red/green colour blindness but I figured I'd just throw that in there.
Edit: Well the crazy purple/blue colour isn't showing up in my link but the link I posted is the one I can't read in the main post. Its like an optical illusion and hurts my eyes.

I am subscribing now.
Even though gameplay videos would be great I also like the intros. Any type of additional info. about the games that you offer are welcome. At such low prices though I don't know why more people need to be convinced to just try something different or new.
Nice! For the DOS games you might want to use the DOSBox video recording feature. The intro of Stonekeep might be nice one to add.
