I have witcher 2 on steam and im trying to get the key so I can redeem a backup copy on here and then get witcher 3 preorder a little cheaper but I cant find the key on steam. According to google I right click on the game in my library and there is an option to view cd key but I cant see it. Do I have to install the game first to get the key then uninstall as I don't want it installed right now?

Cheers for any support peepz :)

Try this : Start the download and pause it after 30 seconds . Then check the CD key option again .

You didn't make the thread a problem/question one, so you can't mark a post as "solved".

Learn something new every day!

Now im stuck with the decision of weather to spaff 2 months gaming budget on a preorder before this sale finishes. The preorder price may go up to 7 percent off instead of 27 percent tho...,.

I don't think there will be any change with the preorder price. I have never seen any GOG preorder changing its discount before its release date. I would recommend you to wait till the requirements are officially announced.

I have a decent rig (over £2300 14 months ago and overclocked/upgraded since) so I should be able to run it at 1440p if I turn anti aliasing down and not use ubersampling hopefully. I will probably be replacing my 4g 680 with whatever is out at the time cyberpunk 2077 comes out too so will be able to do another playthrough with maxed settings all going well. The advantages of living with parents as an adult, spend everything on toys :D.
