These days I think I just enjoy all the nostalgia and warm fuzzy feelings from seeing old Christmas movies, hearing the music in random places, etc. Even though my family didn't celebrate Xmas too much (some years), it was still a great time for me as a kid. I like just seeing the spirit of the holidays still alive, and in a strange way that helps me connect with those fond memories of childhood.

Plus, Christmas gave us one of my favorite scenes in movie history. I love those old 80s and 90s Christmas movies. So classic. :D

For me, it's always watching the kids unwrap their presents.

Always makes me laugh that my 4 & 6 year olds spend so much time playing with the boxes & wrapping before they even notice there was something inside.
I'm sure they would have just as much fun if there was nothing inside, so maybe the presents themselves are more so that me & Mrs Rod feel that we've done something....
