+1 for the great giveaway. I'd like to be in for tinyE, in the hopes a game will help him get through those appalling cookies.

This holiday is the Winter Solstice for me, though my family does Christmas as the Great Gifting Holiday. Among my favourite traditions are my mother's 7-Layer Cookies and going to the botanical garden light shows (there are two amazing ones in my area). A more recent tradition for me is helping out at the local Craft Mafia's Handmade Holiday, which I've been doing for about three years now.

tinyE: I have considered that maybe Blue Jays (of which we have tons) might be able to team up and carry one together, but then I'm not so sure that Blue Jays migrate. Do we have any ornithologist here? Anyone?
They do, though we pretty much have a population of them here all year (though not necessarily the same birds year-round). They are especially noticeable when mobbing in breeding season, when their raucous calls get even louder. Don't know if they'd go for your cookies, but they are mad about peanuts in the shell.
Well I guess the best thing about Christmas is the smells. Pine trees (or Plastic ones as the case may be) Rich food chocolate, Wrapping paper and new books make a unique cocktail of scents that that happiness engrained into it from association with memories of previous Christmases. Nothing else like it.

Last year I finished Star Wars: Dark Forces on Christmas day. I'm going to Continue this new tradition with something else Star Wars biased this year, William Shakespeare's Star Wars! (Yes, it's a real thing. Look it up :D)

For me. I'd go for Fear 2 or 3. Failing Those I'd go for Resonance. Thanks.

Merry Christmas

So what you are saying is that they exibit a mob mentality? That would work; it shows they work together and hence two of them could be capable of carrying a coconut together. Ah yes, it's all starting to make sense now. :D
Well, the thing I like most about Christmas is the spirit of giving, it seems to infect everyone! I love the expressions on my kids faces when they open up their presents on Christmas morning!

Here are some season greetings to all the Girls out there!

edit: oh yeah, um, in for
21. Pid (Steam)
1. Ultima Underworld 1 +2 (GOG)
46. Sword of the Stars - The Pit (base game) (GOG)
2. Resonance (GOG)
38. Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold + Blake Stone: Planet Strike (GOG)

This Christmas will be a little strange for me as it will have undertones of family tension between myself and my brother. Considering I know how some of the shopping has gone I also worry about calls of favoritism, but I digress.

My family decided they wanted a trinket of my life in school, and I've bought 3 ornaments, either die cut or metal forged, with one more coming later this week. I've yet to see the love and outright collective spirit that my parents have for ornaments, but that is part of the tradition for my family is the ever growing list of nicknack, thematic globes and figures to hang from the tree.

Thanks for the giveaway.

For games I take interest in:

10) Eleusis
12) Reign: Conflict of Nations
38) Blake Stone Series

Yes, they mob, and have a marked fondness for nuts, so they could very easily be the vector by which coconuts are entering your area. It is also possible your mother is a sorceress and is bidding them to do so. There is no other reason you should be finding coconut in your climate, so I'd call for the Witchfinder General.
In for 38. Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold + Blake Stone: Planet Strike (GOG)

Thanks for the giveaway. +1

The nice tasty food we eat at christmas plus sometimes when we have it, snow.

It's the time of the year when the crime rate is lower, people are showing their altruism and happiness can be found almost anywhere in the world where it's being celebrated.
Great giveaway! Many thanks to triock and Happy Holidays to everybody.

I'm in for 5. Carmageddon Max Pack (GOG).

One of the nice things about Christmas every year is the Christmas sales on Steam and my mother is usually very nice to me on Christmas(she doesn't nag me to death on Christmas).

My favorite part of xmas is the booze.

Cheers!
Best thing I like about christmas is the seasonally appropriate music that plays everywhere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGFNmEOntFA&ob=av2e

I'd be down for some AI war fleet command! or The 39 Steps
