The Christmas story is a couple of post down, because I can't read and my memory sucks big time.

One thing I like about Christmas is the chance to see a new adaptation of Christmas Carol. I just can't get enough of them. But mostly, I like Christmas because it is a chance to see relatives and friends who I don't get the chance to see other times of the year.

Three things I like around Christmas:
1. Decorating the Christmas tree.
2. I swear Christmas movies have super powers when watched in this period.
3. Getting wasted with friends on 24th of December is almost a traditional event.

Chrismas makes me happy because i can see my family and my nieces. I love it to see them happy when opening their chrismas presents.

Whoops! Sorry! I actually did read that part before moving on to the list: but it was so long, I had forgotten about it once I had finished reading the list and browsing the games I hadn't heard of before. So, something nice about Christmas? Well...even though Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus, my family doesn't see the holiday that way. My mother still belongs in the church, but isn't particularly religious. I've left the church entirely in 2006. Wait - I'm going somewhere with this! So while we don't really celebrate the religious spirit/part of the holiday, it's still a very special holiday to us, in a different way. We feast, share gifts, and generally have a good time. So to us, Christmas is that special, warm time of the year that truly brings all families together. I hope everyone gets to experience that same warmth. No-one should be alone in Christmas time.

One of the things I do really enjoy about Christmas is building a nativity scene at home. It's made of carved wooden figures, a miniature stable, moss, twigs, sand and a little bit illumination. It has a long tradition in my family.

I can't keep up with all the Christmas traditions may family may or may not celebrate any given year, but my favorite unofficial one has always been staying up with my grandpa all night watching the annual A Christmas Story marathon. Best way to countdown the time till Santa comes ;P
