Well, it is getting close to Halloween. I've been waiting for this little movie to appear, and I finally got to watch it. Anyone here seen it as well? Here is a link for anyone of those interested in reading about it. Think Tales from the Crypt but all the stories intervene with each other.
I haven't seen it, but as a horror movie fan I'm sure I will soon. Anyone remember the film Trick or Treat from 1986? It had Skippy from Family Ties in it and the killer was a back from the dead rock star who shot lasers from his guitar. So bad and cheesy, and yet so kick ass when I was 10.

I was a sperm cell in 1986.

I saw it a few days ago and loved it. Not so scary as much as clever. It has more twists than a Shamalayan film, yet does everything well.

My mom HATED it, but she has chosen some really shitty movies in the past 2 months. Hint: DON'T watch The Last House in the Woods.
I liked the movie and am hoping to get the graphic novel version when I find it.

Rohan15: So there actually is a graphic novel? I just assumed the comic book titles and panels at the beginning and end were just stylistically chosen because the stories were so over-the-top. I'll have to search for that...
EDIT: I was reading the IMDB article, and the movie was released direct to DVD this year, even though it was planned to be released in theaters in Halloween 2007, 2008, or 2009, but all those fell through. That's a real bummer, considering that this is much, much better than his previous work on Superman Returns.

EDIT #2: QUOTE BUGS AHHH!

That's almost a rule of life. Anything your mom hates is usually great. My mom hated Nirvana and video games.
