Just to prove just how lazy Michael Bay is and how much contempt he has for film fans he has been caught recycling special effects shots. Link

To be fair, even within that scene it's a tiny portion. It looked to me like about 3 seconds tops.

Yes it is lazy, but they did have to redo most of the special effects in order to make that work.

Then again, Michael Bay did shell out most of his salary for the Rock to redo the special effects for the finale when the studio wouldn't redo it due to poor luck with weather IIRC.

orcishgamer: Boll's problem is his attitude. He made tons of crap movies, didn't care how bad they were because it was basically money laundering the investment dollars through a tax shelter, then gets mad when people point out that a lot of his stuff is utter tripe. Well, duh, Boll! You didn't even try!

TheCheese33: To be fair to the guy, no one wants to be told constantly that every thing they make is shit, especially since he's been sent numerous death threats from raging fans of certain properties.
No one deserves death threats and I'm not defending that. However if you make a living being a toolbag and people point it out, tough shit. He's not doing it because he can't scrape by any other way (at least some telemarketers have that as an excuse!).

I have not watched 2 or 3 but that article was more entertaining than I suspect I'd find either to be.

Also, part of the score from Transformers 3 is ripped straight from Inception. I'm not even exaggerating. Once the DVD releases, I imagine someone will do a side-by-side and point out the brazen similarities.
Original Transformers movie, superior.

Micheal Bay concepts, inferior.
How the fuck this moron keeps making movies, and how the fuck people shovel hundreds of millions of dollars toward his shit is such a mystery that I can only imagine it isn't real people in this universe actually filling those theater seats. It has to be mindless idiots from Bizarro World. It has to be.

Or zombies, because anyone who can actually turn off their brain is brain dead, which makes you legally dead for the two and half hours this atrocious piece of shit is. At least when the organ harvesters come in, it'll mean longer lives for people who didn't get sucked into this shit.

For fuck sake, are people's lives so bad that really need to waste this much time out of their lives, something which is short enough as it is, on this? Really? No family to have a conversation with instead, no charity to donate your time to, no hobby to enjoy, no book to read...nothing?
I think the way it works with big summer movies is the sheep mentality. You have to see that movie because it's the movie that EVERYBODY YOU KNOW, friends, family, co-workers and such have watched, and you cannot be left out. Or at least i think it works like that.

For this one I just point to the framed picture on my wall of 80s Megatron holding the decapitated head of Bay's Megatron. Yes, I really have this on my wall.

What makes me upset is when I have to explain myself why I don't want to see a movie, particularly big blockbusters that I usually don't give a kangaroo's fart about. If I don't care about Harry Potter or Avatar, I have to justify myself that I'm not interested at all in that kind of cinema.

That's the one.
Great picture. Given how the trilogy has been treating Megatron, it's higly appropriate.
