It's my brother's last week until he ships off for Americorps, and I won't see him until I get back from college next May (still have the rest of the summer to hang out). While I got him hooked on Team Fortress 2, he still wants to see this wretched pile of ass. So I've obliged.

I'm not a Transformers fan and I hate Micheal Bay, but I still wanna see it because I've lived in the Chicago area my whole life. Some of the scenes of downtown getting its ass kicked look fricking awesome

The Rock was OK, but he was just about the worst choice for directing these movies. But then again, considering that the scripts were shite to begin with, I'm not sure that Uwe Bolle would have done much worse.

Uwe, the same director that's only made one watchable film in his entire career.

The 2nd movie was one of the worst movies I saw in my life. I wonder about the 3rd.

I never bothered seeing the second movie, but just seeing it recapped here makes my skin crawl. "Transformer heaven"? Aren't they fucking robots?

It was that much worse than the first? Well, I guess he did have to publicly apologize for it being so bad, but the first one was deserving of an apology as well.

Last half hour or so awesome, the rest of it completely missed the point that it's called TRANSFORMERS, as in one would assume that it would be a movie about, well, transformers. But, one would be wrong, it was a mediocre movie about pitiful humans with a few transformers in for reasons most inexplicable.
Transformers go to Silicon heaven if they're lucky.

One of my cousins is an aspiring film critic; I'll be seeing it with him tomorrow night. I hated everything about the first one, and while I haven't actually seen the second, I watched a review of it on Bad Movie Beatdown, and that was more than enough. At least (from what I was shown) the second one didn't have a gratuitous conversation about masturbation.

Transformer heaven is a big farm upstate where the Autobots and Decepticons get to run and play.
