Is it worth 1200 points, never played it before, i gather its Diabloesque.

Ive had 2300 points sitting there for months.

Anything else worth picking up. Witch hunt for DA:O @ 400?

No it's not. Because it's been considerably cheaper on PC many many times. Save your money for Windows Live Marketplace game sales.

For $10 you can get a DRM free box version of Torchlight from the store.

I'd have been fairly satisfied with it if I'd gotten it at that price. The game is pretty long and the 360 version is really well made

Witch hunt is also pretty good for that price

X-men the Arcade game is 200 points this weekend. Buy that and wait for Torchlight to pop up on a Steam sale for $3.

With the current Live sale I cannot recommend this one. I tried the demo to see how they'd mapped the controls and it didn't make it better, though it's hard to argue it's way worse. Once you get your super-skill (laser beam of death for Alch, Earthquake for Warrior) you'll use that almost exclusively and you need to aim it either in a sweeping arc or aim yourself and you move around in a whirlwind of utter annihilation.

The life in Torchlight comes from the community because the core gameplay's story is short and what's left after gets boring after a time. So the PC version is probably a better deal.


If you have 2300 points here's what I'd spend them on today:

Unbound Saga, it's 160 points, I'll be honest, I haven't played it but it nearly must be good

New Vegas Dead Money DLC for half off today only, 400 points
Comic Jumper 400 points (normal 1200) today only, it's hard and you die a lot, but funny and there's no death penalty, check Angry Joe's review, it sums it up
Deadlist Warrior (fighting game, check reviews, i think folks liked it) 200 points, today only
Faeri, 600 points, you seriously play a Faeri in a Mass Effect dialog-like, Final Fantasy combat-like RPG, and yes, the map you explore is 3D because you F-ing FLY! I only played the demo, but did buy it based on that.
Gyromancer and dirt cheap too (puzzle game)
Undead Nightmare is 400 points, if you have RDR to say this is a steal would be a gross understatement.
Understone Quest pack is 200 points if you're a Fable 3 owner


Really, get on and check the sale page for today, these deals are as good as the Christmas deals (and those were good as well). I would not get Torchlight there, I'd pick it up digitally or in box (if you want no DRM got to get the box) for a lot less and then spend your points on some of the Live sales today.

Undead Nightmare is a singleplayer story arc (alternate timeline style) for Red Dead Redemption. It's actually really amazing. It does add one, new multiplayer mode as well, but that's not the core of the DLC. Plus it's zombies and I was riding War, one of the four horses of the Apocolypse, wtf isn't there to like about that?!

Fable 3 is a puzzle game? I'd call it RPG-lite with great co-op. At any rate Understone didn't add much to the game unlike the newest DLC, but at 200 points it becomes a much better deal.

Deadliest Warrior is a fighting game, harder than Soul Calibur, like a brutal Mortal Kombat with tons of blood.

Comic Jumper, just watch this http://angryjoeshow.com/2010/10/comic-jumper-review/ you should get it, these developers are really cool people, too.

Unbound Saga is also a comic book thing, only the comic book hero thinks the artist is out to get him, so ends up trying to defeat the artist.

There is a full stop in here but I missed a space (ooops) andway the puzzle coment was about gyromancer.

Ill pick up RDR UN

Deadliest warrior I dont think id like, but 200 points may keep me occupied for half an hour.

Unbound sounds crap IMO.



Hmm th add plays fine in the vid, but the review itself streams like a bitch, think I'll leave it to load and come back to it.

Wait for TL2 which will be released on the PC in about three months -- it is better in every way and will probably cost the same.

Call and ask for a refund on the difference, their servers have been bit fucked this week, you should have no problem getting your 400 point difference back.
