Glad to see a physical version will be available, I dont think there was one for the first game as I hvae it as a DD from...Perfect World (?).
When I heard it was a Steam exclusive I thought I would have to just content myself with Path of Exile (f2p isometric rpg), but now I can have both, so all is well with the world :)
Thanks for the heads up.

Not going to pre-order. Gonna wait for the release and hope it turns up here, because I'd rather have a DRM free copy than that "online activation" they have in theirs.

It's good that they announced the release day (heh, two days before my 24th birthday).
One question though: will I be able to use PayPal or Google Checkout to buy the game directly, like I can buy Torchlight I?
And an another question: will there be any place where I can buy the game for dollars? 19 euros is more than 20 dollars. (Again, from Torchlight I's official site, I can buy it for dollars, so I don't have to pay with euros.)

I hope people won't have to wait long for this to get this here.

Looks like I'll be passing on this for awhile since Borderlands 2 releases right around the same time.

You are not alone my friend, I too despise activations. After my recent internet problems, if I had a choice (and could still play all my games), my gaming computer would not have the internet at all. it is because of these activations that I'm forced to have the internet on my computer, and thus put myself at risk for another virus/root-kit attack, where I can loose everything, again. So activations do indeed suck, further, what is the point of activations? How does it help us the consumer? Oh wait it doesn't. And how does it help the company that has them? Well it really makes reselling the game practically impossible for one, but does it stop piracy? LOL No. So why would people defend activations exactly? Well I guess Monstamunch thinks it's fine and dandy and we should all shut-it. It's views like that which have helped DRM to grow worse and more widespread over the years, taking away more of the buyers power over their purchases. Oh yes, just in case one missed my point of view, activations suck. [/nonsarcasm]

That or I will be forced to do a 18.1km(according to google maps) to my nearest free internet spot just to activate the game on an already tight work schedule that I have.
