Speaking about Gorky.
When will we see : Gorky Zero: Beyond Honor on GOG ?
Well I guess I'm in the minority but I'm not a huge fan of the pack promos. Would much rather the ability to get 50% off the couple that I want. Enclave and Two Worlds look nice but, then again, there are already about a dozen games on my 'to finish/play' list to counsel me away from 30% off as opposed to 50% off. Does that make me a cheapskate? I guess so.
About Jack Orlando: it may be a flawed game (voice acting is especially atrocious at times, and there is an all-too-large amount of useless items), but if you like the film noir style, you should definitely grab it. It has, in particular, an -in my opinion- astounding soundtrack, composed by Harold Faltermeyer, and some (dry) humor.
It's about the only adventure game I cared to finish (albeit even this only with a walkthrough... I'm just not good at adventure games), and it was also an insta-buy for me when it appeared on GOG, and these says something about how much I liked it ;-).

So uncheck the items you don't want before you hit purchase...

I don't think you read his post carefully. If you don't buy the bundle or if the games you uncheck aren't already owned by you and previously purchased from GOG, then the remaining games will be 30% off instead of 50%. He said that 30% isn't enough to entice him since he has enough games on his 'to play/finish' list to keep him busy. It's not a matter of how to do it, it's a matter of it not being enough of a deal to do so.

And while I am sure there are people of which that is true, there is also the problem of those who always want more.
"I dunno. 95% off is a lot. But I would rather hold out for 96%" and the like.
I dunno. I like the way these work. If there are a bunch of games in the promo that I want, I check to see if it would be cheaper to get the whole lot. Because, quite frankly, if you like 8/10 games, you might as well give the other two a shot :p
I look at these package deals as being a more flexible version of similar deals on other sites (like Direct2Drive's "Best of Indie" bundles). It's a package deal for half-off, but you can also a) save even more on the bundle if you already own some of the titles, or b) pick out a few for a smaller discount, if you don't like the whole selection.
No, I read his post; I'm not aware of other bundle discounts that allow any customization really. Even if you only want one game, if it's eventually, 30% off is better than 0% off and I assume anyone can do basic math to decide whether removing one or two still comes out cheaper.
Look at it this way, a drm free game for around $4 (or 7), that is a deal.

Deals like this are the main reason why I love GOG so much! :D
I bought the whole pack as I couldn't really narrow down what ones I wanted.
Been playing Gorky 17 so far, and I must say, its a fascinating little gem so far.
And thus another 9 games were added to my shelf for a total of 108. I already had Earth 2150.

I had one game beforehand and saw fit to get the other 9 as well. Especially interested in the Earth games. Too good of a deal to pass up. Thanks. Can't wait for the Raptor game to be released. I won't be a cheapskate on that one. First day buyer for sure.
Come to papa Two Worlds and Earth 2160! Papa loooves you!

I agree, which is why I grabbed Two Worlds for $7, as I noted earlier. It just looked from your first post that you'd missed the gist of his.
The last three TopWare's games I didn't own are in my account now.
What bundle do you think comes to the next discount?
IC,Ubisoft,Epic Games,Interplay or Activision?
Oh please let it be Epic games!
ICH WILL UNREAL TURNAMENT SPIELEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
