90% of what you guys put out (especially lately) are point and click adventure games. I, for one, do not enjoy them one bit. Where's the variety?

Im sorry, not enough call of duty. For the simple fact that point and click games are extremely hard to get a hold of in this day and age i am very very pleased with GoG's choice of games.
to many????, in my opinion not enough. also there's not really been that many point and click release of late.

90% are you on crack, i would say rpgs are highest type of games on gog and its no where near 90% for them

I agree. Let's all buy Sacrifice in protest :)
When you sort the catalog by date you can see that regarding genres the releases were well mixed lately. Telltale released some series at once, but that's all. The only missing genres lately are maybe simulations and fps, otherwise I see a nice mix of shooters, strategy, adventure and rpgs.

Please take the last 20 games released here and mark which are point and click adventure games and which are not. I'm really curious how you came up with the 90% o.O

90% literally means 9 out of 10. It's not just an expression.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of point and click adventure games either. To me they're rather boring. But hey, I have such a long backlog of games to play I'm not worried about it. I mean, if I didn't buy another game for the next six months, I would still have a couple dozen games to play through. I love indie bundles. :D
Right now there is a complete draught of FPS games in the recent releases
also OP theres a huge catalogue of other types of games to choose from, you almost make it sound like GOG are forcing you to buy point and click games. i have such a backlog of games of GOG i breath a sigh o relief when there's a deal and there's nothing i want!
personally i enjoy PnC adventure games, something that makes you use your brain, rather than if it moves, blow it up or shoot it lol. However we are all different and this is a great thing. The choice on GOG is very wide indeed, perhaps you should look through the whole games list, I am sure you will find a few games that you would enjoy :)

I lol'd
In the past twenty releases, there have been either three or four point-and-click adventure games, depending on whether or not Spycraft is in that genre (can't really tell from the screenshots). That is not exactly an overwhelming majority.

Concering new games - Point 'n Click are among those I'm interested most - so the more of them on GOG the more $ GOG will get from me.
