Picking a favorite soundtrack is hard, but I think I'll go with Fallout's.

Most of the time, I disable a game's music. I do like Morrowind's music, and Settlers II's music though. If I had a gun to my head and forced to pick one, it'd be Settlers II.

My favourite is also from Castlevania series, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood..

It's a tough one. A lot of the Final Fantasy games have epic soundtracks, as did the Chrono games (Trigger and Cross). Nier has a great soundtrack. Square (Enix) tends to own in this department. BioWare titles tend to also have great soundtracks.

I might have to lean Final Fantasy 7. While it's far from being my favorite Final Fantasy, it might very well have the best music.

My favourite soundtrack is from Monkey Island. I usually find myself whistle the main song while walking or doing something.

Thanks! I doubt I could pick any one game soundtrack as my absolute favourite, but I'm quite fond of the music in Xenogears.

as for a newer game, i really enjoy the login & eerie music that is in Secret World...
theres something about it that i enjoy, alot....
for Sci-Fi, id say Mass Effect...
