Miaghstir: In fact, they built the engine for the purpose of having it easily portable - according to the bonus DVD I got with the game.
I haven't played my copy of 2 yet, but from what I've played so far from The Witcher, there's nothing about the control scheme or game that wouldn't slide right into a dual analog setup with a few UI tweaks. So what you're saying doesn't surprise me in the least.

Combatwise it actually plays better with a 360 pad. There will be little to no tweaking to get this running on a console.
No offense guys but I say no to ports.

They should make the games for the PC to be PC. Make the games for the console for console. Ports sometime work and sometimes screw things up badly. Don't even get me started about porting over to the Mac or Linux systems.

It should be made from ground up to run on what it was designed to run on. Some of these companies are just getting plain lazy aout their work and being to greedy to actually pay to have the game done right the first time around.
Port it! Make more money! Let people who cannot experience the game due to not having a good enough gaming PC / prefer it on the console play it on a console!

Games for everyone!

By the way, please convince Rockstar to port RDR and LA Noire to PC (and do a good job this time). ;)
let the console owners rot... somethings deserve to be only on PC..

The writing in Arcanum was actually great I thought just not as much of it compared to Planescape: Torment. I'm really not sure if the quality of writing in P:T was that much better just that P:T had way more quantity.
