If you want a steam copy, you have to contact Cinemax support via this form:

http://feedback.cinemax.cz/?email=Inquisitor

and provide them a link for a screenshot of your purchase ticket, and they will issue you with a Steam key for deluxe edition. Deluxe ed. is pretty much the same as on GOG, but if you want a steam copy, you can contact them.

That works if you bought it on Desura as well.

Any reason to have it on Steam in the first place? Not nitpicking, just curious. Looking at the game page it doesn't seem to have achievements, auto-update is useless since the creators disbanded or something I think. Aside from having two different legal distributions for one game in case one gives trouble I can't find any except perhaps steam overlay and friend list.

I'm going to do this anyway just because I can haha.

That's the only reason I can think of right now :P Because you shouldn't rather give the key to your friend, you should use it yourself.

If someone has a spare Steam key, can I have it?
I wanna try the game, it seems a good, old-like rpg.
I was supposed to be taking screenshots of all my purchase tickets? Why Wasn't I told?
Seriously though, if there's a way to retrieve my old purchase tickets, I have no idea what it is...

I don't share keys, I find it worse than piracy. Besides, none of my friends would ever play something like this unfortunately. :(

I think you can simply make a screenshot of your library.
What if you got it as a gift ? Also, can you get a Desura key instead of a Steam one ?
Thanks for the info. For now I'm happy with the GOG version though, even if owning only it is "less". Like with The Witcher 2.

I should have my confirmation e-mail from when I purchased the game somewhere, is that what they mean by purchase ticket?

Yeah, it's your purchase summary, or whatever it's called. The screenshot from that should suffice.

You don't have it in your e-mail?

Ah I see, I was thinking if it was that easy why not just forward it but now I see its a web form and not a proper email address, so... I have to sign up to Photobucket or something I guess? Hmm Maybe I can make stuff public in dropbox...

tinypic.com requires no accounts and provides direct link for image. I used that, and it worked.
Bah, I don't have the purchase ticket anymore from when I bought it...Would using a screenshot of the library work? I don't know how else I'd be able to do it.
