I've been eyeing this project for years, really, and now they say something is happening, I hope it is a Kickstarter campaign à la Serellan's Takedown.

The intention was to show how hypocrite we gamers are, all of us, just because of a famous name. (I mean, how people donate to a famous name and ignore all the others).

I think you forgot to factor in that adventure games and tactical shooters have different audiences.
