One thing I haven't noticed is any reference to arresting him for perjury. It appears he blatantly game false testimony, so surely this is an obvious thing to arrest him for.

Indeed. I'm of a crueler mind bent anyway. I figure it's far better that he live so he can wallow in the bad karma for a long time. :P

But seriously, at worst he's just been an incredible git and a total douche. Glad to see the birds come home to roost, but really don't wish him dead.

Possibly, but there are few people in the gaming industry worthy of such treatment as Tim Langdell. He is a lying, cheating scumbag that has been a blight on the gaming industry for over 20 years now. He and Jack Thompson should both die horrifying, painful deaths.

When I saw "trolling little shit" in Reply #1, I immediately thought of Derek Smart. I mean, there was a real troll, and an apparently pathological liar (though not proven) to boot. Slightly different from "copyright/patent troll", but still a guy I'd like to see taken down a few pegs.

Why should we feel bad that he's lost so much? I don't get that. He never should have had any of it in the first place. Even if he winds up on the streets sucking dick for another bottle of meths I still can't see how it's any worse than what he deserves.

Yes. But that's okay, because he doesn't have to take anyone up on the suggestion. Though from all the hours of people's lives he's stolen with having to deal with this bullshit, I'd say it's about a fair trade.

Let's also not forget the jobs and businesses Langdell has ruined with his patent trolling like the developers of that iPhone game that had the cheek to be called Edge. We have no real idea how much misery the bastard has caused over the years.
