País Tropical from Jorge Ben Jor

"Moro num país TROPICAL
Abençoado por Deus
E bonito por natureza
Que beleza
Em fevereiro tem carnaval"

I'm in for Tropico Trilogy.
Weezer - Island in the sun

When you’re on a golden sea,
You don’t need no memory,
Just a place to call your own,
As we drift into the zone,

On an island in the sun,
We’ll be playing and having fun,
And it makes me feel so fine,
I can’t control my brain,

Thanks lugum!

Edit: Congrats on the 3 stars, and in for the Tropico Trilogy.

Islands in the Stream

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No-one in between
How can we be wrong?
Sail away with me
To another world
And we’ll rely on each other
Uuuuhhh Uuuuhhhh!!!!

Not in, I just like the song :)

Title: Take Me Home Country Road

Driving down the road,
I feel the Spirit coming to me,
from yesterday, yesterday.

All my memories hold Heaven on high,
brown-skinned woman, clear blue island sky.
Daytime sunshine, oo-ooh so bright,
midnight moon a-glowing, stars up in the sky.

Even if song consists also from "star" I'm in just for Tropico
Thanks for
Kokomo

By The Beach Boys

We'll put out to sea
And we'll perfect our chemistry
By and by we'll defy a little bit of gravity

Afternoon delight
cocktails and moonlit nights
That dreamy look in your eye
Give me a tropical contact high
Way down in Kokomo

Well it's obvious what I want. Thanks for the challenge giveaway!
Not in but +1

Thanks for your generosity, and congrats on your achievement, lugum!

In for Smooth Operators:

Sade - Smooth Operator

A license to love, insurance to hold
Melts all your memories and change into gold
His eyes are like angels, his heart is cold

No need to ask
He's a smooth operator
Smooth operator
Smooth operator
Smooth operator

(I'm a great fan of Sade Adu, so when I read your OP, reminded me of this song at once)

And for Stardrone:

Twinkle twinkle little star (the English lyrics of this lullaby song were first published as a poem with the title "The Star" by sisters Ann and Jane Taylor)

^(SPOILER ALERT: I cannot watch videos in this public PC, so I don't know if this version I've chosen might have spoilers on the "Dead Space" horror game)

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
How I wonder what you are
Up above the world's so high
Like a diamond in the sky

When the blazing sun is gone
When there's nothing he shines upon
Then you show your little light
And twinkle, twinkle, through the night

(yep, my memories about this lullaby are inextricably linked to the animated film which served as a prequel to the events of the Dead Space)

Thanks for the giveaway, lugum! Count me in for Stardrone!

California Babylon by the Transplants:

"At last she had arrived, we turned in exhausted
Cocaine in her pocket, she can get busted
Once again she passes, now she's gone
Now she's with her friend, her beautiful young
She showed up on the scene, she was 17
Now she's 21, she does some more coke, she does some more coke
She drinks some whiskey and she smokes some dope
She thinks she's a star
Do you know who you are?"
Does "Isle" count instead of "Island"? According to http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/isle Isle is an obsolete or poetic form of Island.

If it counts, I'd go for Tropico.

Song: "Belle Isle" by Bob Dylan

One evening for pleasure I rambled to view
The fair fields all alone
Down by the banks of Loch Eiron
Where beauty and pleasure were known.

I spied a fair maid at her labour
Which caused me to stay for a while
And I thought of a goddess to beauty
Bloomin' bright star of Bright Isle.

Vinylshakerz - Club Tropicana

Let me take you to the place
Where membership's a smiling face,
Brush shoulders with the stars.
Where strangers take you by the hand,
And welcome you to wonderland -
From beneath their panamas...

Club Tropicana, drinks are free,
Fun and sunshine - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is the sea,
But don't worry, you can suntan!

Castaways and Lovers meet,
Then kiss in Tropicana's heat,
Watch the waves break on the bay.
Soft white sands, a blue lagoon,
Cocktail time, a summer's tune,
A whole night's holiday!

Club Tropicana, drinks are free,
Fun and sunshine - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is the sea,
But don't worry, you can suntan!

Obviously, I'm running for El Presidente! :)
