Personally I think it's too early to decide as with all new consoles but the Virtual Console having Gamecube games is one thumbs up from me.
I am not able to play any of my 20 game cube games... Thats thumbs down for me....
I have an actual Gamecube, so thumbs up for me.

Are they charging 20 bucks for the first Super Mario yet again on their Virtual Console?

As long as it's hardware tied it's literally the worst console download system so far, MS and Sony both have done better and it's been years.

Thought Nintendo said they'd improve with downloading and online in general with Wii U, I mean it has online patches now :O

What Ninetendo produces is always less grandiose than its claims. The Wii U and most Zelda games are great examples of this;)

Was actually reading an article about how Nintendo messed up the marketing of Zelda: Skyward Sword an hour or two ago

At the risk of flame baiting:

Did they accidentally say it would be good?:)

I think the article tried to avoid gameplay mistakes and more marketing mistakes, probably to stop hoards of angry fanboy comments
lol nintendo and their same brand of game, plus the bloody wii games like super smash brawn is till $50 its orignal price after 7 years and really getting sick not so innovative pedo mario coming out every year,

lol i think nintendo people are stubborn , their motto is "it will sell, why no sell, we make sell"
Just so people know I'm not a complete Nintendo hater, my GameCube is currently hooked up and by far my favorite Nintendo living room console... yes "favorite one ever".
Will get one next year after more interesting titles come out, and the kinks are ironed.

Honestly, mainly for the new Smash, and to see if something interesting is done with the tablet controller. A game where one player makes a dungeon and the other 4 have to navigate it and deal with traps/enemies please!

Mario either goes for innovative, or AMZINGLY POLISHED. New Super Mario Bros Wii was kind of both, being the most aggressive player vs player experience out of Magicka, and being extremely polished in gameplay. Dunno about NSMBWU, though.
And Galaxy was both innovative and polished, being pretty much the first platformer to use 3d spaces at its fullest. Also, pedo? What.

From what I see, to me at least, there seems to be more adult oriented games available for the XBox 360 and PS3. My girlfriend's boys have a Wii, and enjoy playing all the Mario games, and Wii sports stuff ect., but none of that's my bag. The XBox 360 I just picked up, does not come with the available Kinect, because, well....I have absolutely zero interest in that. I do however, fondly remember playing early Zelda and Metroid games, but the slight influence of nostalgia is nowhere strong enough to make me want a Wii (or Wii U) over the Xbox. I guess what it comes down to, is your personal gaming tastes and style for the most part.

What I'd like to hear are thoughts from Wii U owners rather than opinions based on conjecture on something.

My friend owns one and there's some pros and weaknesses to the way it works. Online is slow and VC/Wiiware stuff can only operate via Wii Mode being huge minuses. But, games like Zombi U show the potential for the gamepad.

Too early to give a verdict... even more premature to talk about the library of games. That's like bashing Xbox 360 on its first week because it only had Perfect Dark.

Well, the only opinions you'll get from them are actually based on the launch line up because that's mostly what there is. However, several forum members, such as PheonixWright, own one and have posted their thoughts, so your wish is granted:)
