Greetings, fellow GOG'ers. I have some thoughts I'd like to share with you. I also have some games I'm giving away.
First, let's start with the thoughts. I've been around GOG for a long time now, mostly lurking over the years. Occasionally I have contributed or had family contribute to matters that frankly I should have stayed out of, and in the past I've been pushy with the things I have done in terms of getting people to check my stuff out.
I no longer get involved in potential flame wars, and no one else has access to my account, which is not something I can say happened 100% in the past. I've learned that ultimately we're all gamers and most of us share the same joy in nostalgia; we're on the same team, in other words. Not that there needs to be teams, but humans tend to work best in packs.
I want to apologize for any inflammatory posts ever made on this account, as well as what has been perceived as some as "self publicizing". In terms of my music and writing, I have learned that the last thing I want to do is establish myself as the Frogboy of music, so I have taken steps to make amends.
I have adjusted my goals in publishing music and now I am giving that music that I've republished on soundclick away for free; I realize just as much as the next person that times are tough world-wide, and the last thing I want to portray is an image of greed. Could I use the money? Sure, but you know what? I didn't start recording music to make money, I did it to satiate a hobby of mine, which is creating songs. I haven't decided yet what to charge when I release my first album under the moniker "Tim's Midnight Mile" but I wouldn't expect it to be full price.
Now let's head back to GOG for a minute. I want to heartily apologize to any and all who I've rubbed the wrong way. I want to contribute to this community in a meaningful way, and yes sometimes people are bound to be at ends with each other, but it doesn't have to be sustained.
To make amends I have some games I'm giving away, which per the Groupees people is ok to split into individual games.
The games I have are:
******ALL GAMES HAVE BEEN TAKEN. Thank you for taking the time to read this!******
----
There is no requirement to qualify. Normally I would post the codes in the ninja giveaway but that would defeat the purpose of you reading my thoughts on how I've approached GOG and what I've done to this point.
All you need to do is quote me and state which game you want. First come, first served, until the game keys run out.
