Sorry, somehow I'm missing the "silly" part....

I got "terrifying" and "armed robbery", but not "silly".

The 'silly' is lost on me also. I think that if this happened in the US, silly wouldn't be your word of choice.

Depending on WHERE this happened in the US, chances are that several of the civilians and dealers would also have guns, plus there would be armed security. Robbing casinos is a BAD idea.

I'm not sure how it works in the States, but in most places security is just there to cover the insurance requirements. Equally, their cooperation with robber's demands is equally because of insurance requirements. They're just there to look the part, no matter how armed.

Yeah good point. At least nobody died during this heist.

The word silly was used to keep from offending. I could have said Those sdncvdscndncldncncamdkfl;mfklnfklfnklnckn Germans. But lumping all Germans into such a group would not be fair. If you check any other post I have started where a national identity is involved - it is always Those silly ?????

Yeah well it didn't work this time.
Silly -
1. weak-minded or lacking good sense; stupid or foolish: a silly writer.
2. absurd; ridiculous; irrational: a silly idea.

Not really concerned if it worked or not - will continue use silly as a term of inoffense. Thanks for your input. You Silly Hong Kongian ;-)

/me facepalms.
I was using a couple of semi-inside jokes there, old bean. New "Q" guy is John Cleese, of Monty Python fame. Classic sketch from MPFC show was "Ministry of Silly Walks". Now put that thing down, Double-Oh Seven!

I knew of Cleese, Python, and the sketch. I did not know Cleese was the new Q, thanks for the info.
