lugum: but no 2000+ votes?

keeveek: But this 2000+ votes prediction comes from where?
"Last night Destro hinted something on one of the threads:

Tuesday will be The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition day... but fear not, there are some cool releases coming this week. If everything goes according to plan, at least 2000 Wishlist voters should be made happy :) "

And sorry Ghorpm it just has to be final fantasy looking at my sig :p. populous will be there another tommorow.

Hmm... Populous TB and it's expansion have barely 1500 in total...
Then again, it could be something far above 2000 votes. Well, we'll see.

The only 1998 games above 2000 votes are FF7 and Grim Fandango. If it was the later, I would expect a ton of pre-announcements since it would mean signing the most wanted publisher to the site.
Ok, then.

Hm, Final Fantasy VII would be quite an addition to the site, IF it turns out to be true.
never mind

I found the post. He said "this week releases should satisfy 2000+ wishlist votes".

It means both Wed and Thu games will satisfy 2000+ votes.

My guess is back to Populous.

I suggested that earlier, but Botanicula might be the only Thu release this week, and it only has 8 votes in the wishlist.
You missed one game from 1998 from the wishlist that is 2000+ votes
The Curse of Monkey Island

As far as we know GOGs habit for trolling, that means one game with 2 votes and one with 1999 Votes.

Battlecruiser 3000 AD incoming!

The Curse of Monkey Island
That could work, depending on what they mean. NA in 1997, EU in 1998. Still, since it's Lucasarts I don't expect it.

Will see what we will get :D
I love all those little hints. Trying to figure out the puzzle is so much fun.

I hope it's not Lucasarts (yet); once that floodgate is opened gog will unleash a stream that my wallet simply can't handle ;)
Hmmm, i will be really surprised if it turns out to be FFVII. it seems that Squenix has totally forgotten about FF series on PC. For me it sounds unlikely, even though the hints seem to point to it.

But im absolutely sure it isnt anything from Lucasarts, as they would make a lot of hype around it, one of the most wanted publishers here. Not happening.
Having Final Fantasy 7 on gog would be really interesting.

I have to go with Black & White for my preference.

Was there some clue saying it was originally released in 1998?
