Hmm, someone without a sense of humour has taken a dislike to a couple of my posts.
As Mr.T would lovingly say "I pity the foo' ".
Woah, that's some serious grumpiness going on there.
Yup, these are the typical signs of decline; people just try hard not to accept the harsh reality.
Hey, I once told my friends that I wanted to be a comedian too, but they all laughed at me :-(

The living DEAD!!
I remember the time when this place was just a BBC server sitting on a über-slow dial-up modem. Good times!

Oh, for crying out loud, you just HAD to bump it. YOU'RE the reason why this place is going down hill.

don't go around tonight, it's bound to take your life, I see a bad moon a risin'.
I mean, I thought it was my drinking that was doing the bar lowering around here.
No offense, mate, but maybe you still haven't noticed. People here tend to post in somewhat different way, like answering in sarcastic ways, going off-topic on purpose if the question was bad or something, and stuff like that.
But they also tend to be very helpful, friendly, funny, tend to give free games when they are in the mood :D, and what else not. :)
So, my suggestion would be, try to blend in.

I had a Russian hand-cranked modem. It took an hour just to get a connection. Even then you had no way of knowing for sure. As Ping was just the name we gave the carrier pigeon. The worst part? Oh damn, my hands are shaking just at the thought of it. We had... We had AOL. *cries*

Years?
The GoG forums have been online for about a year now...
Trolling eh?

TheCheese33: I thought it was funny. You get these kinds of posts all the time in forums, saying "Such-and-such is dead". It's a funny poke at what you normally see in many forums today.

It's almost a sign that GOG has "made it" isn't it? Next will be the deliberate trolling threads, where people cleverly rile others up with a thread, and never reply to any of the posts. Once that starts happening, we know GOG is here to stay.
I'm surprised no one has posted a picture of a "thread necro" or whatever it is kids these days do when an old thread is bumped up...
What's new here?
Theres seven of these threads on RPGCodex every day.
