Or also known by his Full name: Hannibal Barca. He was a Carthaginian General, and deemed one of the Worlds Greatest Generals to have ever lived. And his Battle of Cannae, would make an epic Movie, as it's seen as one of the greatest battles, with the greatest number of soldiers killed on one day. It was only beaten in the number of deaths in World War 1

Douglas MacArthur for sure. He did all that he could in war; wasn't very victorious, but he did very well when you look at the situations he was in. He was a very intelligent guy and he was the catalyst in making post-war Japan and post-war Japanese-U.S. relations great. He was right in saying that the Nazis couldn't defeat the Soviet Union. Not the greatest in battle, but he was incredible outside of battle and he was great in dealing with the Japanese occupation. He was a very ethical general.
P.S. It's strange that the General discussion forum has so few discussions on Generals.
