I'm not against DLC in general, I'm just against this particular form of DLC. Charging $2 for a couple of sprites.
Killing Floor is actually slightly different since they are an independent developer who have very good support for their game, and they've released a lot of stuff for free also. In those cases you can live with a few $2 DLCs, even if they're pointless, just to show support.
Even so, MW2 is still worst, honestly. In that case they're charging for maps that you essentially need in order to play the multiplayer properly, and the need will only increase as more and more players move on to the next maps. And then to the next set of maps, and so on. And then MW3 is out and MW2 support is killed, leaving you with 5 different map packs you'll never get to see again. They will however be shuffled and recycled into the MW3 map packs.
I just worked myself into a pissed-off mood writing that. :(
