EC-: LMAO, I figured that the Apple hateboys would be out in full force on this announcement.
Hateboys, hahahaha. :D Never heard of that before. :D
Impatience and prematurity seem to be popular these days.
Giana Sisters, that was a great announcement! :D
and as expected the pointless whining and complaining begin. Ahh GOG forums you never change.

Isn't the highest end GPU available for apple computers a 5870?

Will TW2 even run on medium?

It did change, this community used to be the one with the most class, started going downhill after the closure stunt

It wouldn't be the same without those things, I suppose.

GOG could announce the LucasArts catalog and people would find something to complain about within that.

Well I was going based on my time here, But honestly it's to be expected the more popular something gets the more people you obviously have and so you are bound to get more "ridiculous" or less level headed people hanging around case in point look at the minecraft community before and after the blowup, same with Terraria's community, Steam user forums once upon a time was not that bad.

How so? Mac you only have to work with 1 form of the OS , if you can get a game running on one MAC it's more then likely to work with other macs baring widely varying hardware and minimum/recomended specs of course, while Linux you have to work with what over a dozen or more diffrent distros? So say they suppourt Ubutu then the guy using Mint or whatever is going to pitch a fit that their version of Linux is not supported despite being told "hey were supporting Linux" GOG has said many, many of times that as it stands they have no desire to support linux as it would be too hard for them to properly test each release due to all the various Distros there are and until there is more streamlining of Linux distros or a way for them to release games that work on enough versions of linux it's probably not going to happen. Sure you can bring up "well Humble does it" yeah and look at the mess that is Humble's support twitter and look at all the complaints from people who's games don't work proper with this distro or that plus don't get me started on the whining about games that use Wine, same with quite a few games on Desura to name a few examples.

Starting with the worst (Mac support) and ending it with Cyberpunk 2077 Fanservice...

That's the perfect way to make people forget about the lack of linux support.

Downrepping someone you don't agree with not really, at least for me. Downrepping someone who expresses their opinion like a entitled ass or is being a whiny jerk because they didn't hear what they want, yes.

Look I get you guys are miffed that Linux wasn't announced, I don't fault people for being a bit miffed but let's be honest here you all were told countless times that right now it's not feasible for GOG to support Linux, right? Right so what do you guys expect that there all the sudden were going to change their minds and announce it? What gave anyone the inclination that it was going to happen any time soon?

Look it's one thing to be dissapointed about it but don't start running up and down and pissing in everyone elses cherrios because you didn't hear what you wanted to hear as all it does is make you guys look like childish brats. I'm not saying not to expresse yourself or your dissapointment I'm just saying don't be like the OP and be a whiney jerk about it.

To be fair, you would assume the amount of sales was at least somewhat proportional to the amount of people who want support for the OS.
Go to the wishlist and look at how many votes are in favour of Linux, versus how many people want Mac.
That is just plainly a message to the Linux users, that GOG doesn't care about them. No wonder a couple of people are pissed.
