Not much more. Hard to say anything about it, but the TPP, so it's kinda smells like Thief 3.

Opinions? Rants? Loveletters?

Looks pretty.
No visibility meter is worrying.
The picture quality is lousy, but do I really see Garrett holding a bow horizontally? Without wanting to sound too dramatic about this, that is almost enough evidence that this game and I won't like each other.

Might be, the image is too blurry to see. Besides, everything looks better on screenshots today.;)

And this is 2 days before the GDC, where the game is confirmed to be shown. So, this might just be more or less final look.

Well, he's crouching, so i guess it 's the only convenient way to hold a bow. But i'm not an expert, i'd have to ask one of my knight-brotherhood-nut friends. :>

It's not only inconvenient, it's anatomically impossible. As is shooting a bow crouched, unless it's really small (and therefore really weak). And as someone who dabbles in archery a bit, I'm quite positive about that.

I see!:) Hard for me to say about anatomical possibilities, i sit still so much i guess push ups are already impossible. ;P
Then again, is he really using the bow? the string doesn't seem to be pulled.
Then again, I can't seem to locate the hero's right arm. ;)
Perhaps, it's a cutscene, and he's just pointing something using his bow holding hand. [not very stealthy]

Or perhaps Garrett has just gone gangsta? He probably has bling now as well.

Edit: Corrected myself it's gangsta not gangster.

Or maybe he's just raising his bow. It's abit too early to start jumping to conclusions because of that picture.

I do realise I sound like one of those internet fanboys who are ready to condemn a game for extremely silly reasons. But this just screams "let's have him hold the bow sideways, that will look so cool!", which is not exactly the best game design philosophy there is, if you ask me.

But yeah, I'm not jumping to conclusions. The game still might turn out awesome; I just don't think it's very likely, that's all. I didn't think that before that screenshot appeared, to be honest.

There's little more to be commented on in this image, anyway. Let's wait for the GDC presentation.
Clearly there will be stopwatches in the game, which screams cool avant-garde metagaming.

Jumping really high and with a lot of speed, I would say.

Why? I deleted the light gem when I played Thief 3. It wasn't necessary anymore.
