I am guessing it might have a way to turn off such features.

Agreed. I really wonder how they could be fine with that while making the game. It really feels out of place and ... bright and flashy.

I had a reaction for that too, I hope there's a way (official or not) to disable that.

As much as this game looks like shit I don't think Alex Navarro not liking it is some kind of red flag. He's not the type of gamer I would consider falling in line with on old-school PC stealth classic reboots.

I lost interest in this game after this quote:

How about this one? The reason to remove free will jumping from the game:

“Jumping, bouncing up and down, kind of broke the immersion … We didn’t want you to be the master thief and you just tend to fall off stuff all the time.”

Was the guy voicing the old Garrett willing and up for the job? I mean do they even offered him and did he refused? Never understood why he didn't voiced Garrett back...

I mean what design decisions are that? They just don't sound right...
